More information

Prerequisite knowledge

In both modes of flight, you will be in the air as a passenger with an experienced flyer, and prior knowledge or physical stores are not a prerequisite for participation in this arrangement.

Required equipment

All equipment is provided by the organizer in cooperation with partner organizations. At high altitudes temperatures tend to be a few degrees lower than on the ground, so it's good to bring clothes with long sleeves.

Weather conditions

The possibility of flying is largely dependent on weather conditions. Rain and windy weather are the reason for cancellation, while lower temperatures (or more) do not create too many problems in terms of taking off and landing.

Information about accommodation

Accommodation includes the ability to use the free wireless Internet access and TV.

What is paragliding?

Paraglider (paragliders) is a spacecraft that does not self-propelled, but flying the aerodynamic shape of the dome gradually losing altitude. Height can increase by use of ascending air flows. A paraglider is composed of two-layered dome, which is divided into chambers and the front has air holes. Beneath the dome is a seat that has the lines associated with the dome. Pilot is during the flight in the seat and is connected to a system connection. The seat contains a reserve parachute.

Liftoff is performed so that the dome spread on the ground, the pilot engages in the communications system of the car seat, and then running downhill pulls lap behind, lifted it into the air and took off. There are alternative ways of departure which are especially popular in low-lying areas, where are no hill from which we taking off. They are taking off with the help of traction (winches) and take off with paramotor.

Most people confuse paragliding and skydiving, but they are two completely different sports. The purpose of the parachute is to slowly lands you, while a paraglider can fly for hours. Paragliding advantage over other similar sports is that it is the cheapest flight, and all the equipment fits in a slightly larger backpack and can be with you where ever you go.

Safety of flight with a paraglider depends primarily on the pilot. Most accidents occur when a pilot flying in adverse weather conditions, or carried out dangerous maneuvers close to the ground.

What is a motor dragon?

Microlight aircraft (trike) is a one-or two-seater aircraft, powered by the engine, which at maximum take-off mass not faster than 65 km/h, which is operated by moving weight of the pilot and/or aerodynamic control the rudder, and whose maximum takeoff weight of not exceeding 300 kg in single-seater, two-seater with 450 kg, respectively, in amphibian and hydro performed 10% more than those of the masses.

The first flyer step on the road today is usually flying with the dragon, either with those without engines or those with an engine. It is believed that dragons are one of the oldest types of aircraft, and roots back to Leonardo Da Vinci. After the paraglider, the cheapest aircraft that flyer can soar into the air.
